If there were a time, Kalki would be perfect: Nag Ashwin.

If there were a time, Kalki would be perfect: Nag Ashwin. Many have criticized Kalki on the grounds that it lacks a clear character development. I do not appreciate criticism, but I will address it. What we see in Kalki's first half is a deliberate attempt to get the characters known. Some people are complaining that the film's runtime is 3 hours, but it's essential to tell the story in that much time. Kalki's team worked hard to create a story around its characters, and that's something to be appreciated.

The problem is that many are comparing Kalki to Mahanati, which is a completely different kind of film. Mahanati has only one character that takes center stage, while Kalki has multiple key roles. Our story revolves around these characters, so naturally, the first half will lay the groundwork for the second half.

And so, I’m asking everyone to keep their expectations in check and not write off Kalki based on its initial feedback. I’m confident that the film will receive a better response once its second half is released.
