Bollywood hero Ranveer Singh was supposed to star in a Telugu remake of Aparichitudu, directed by Shankar. However, the project has been stopped. Shankar revealed this himself in a recent media interaction. He said that the decision was taken because the remake would be a bigger film than the original.
Shankar explained that the original film, Aparichitudu, was a small film, but if they were to remake it, it would be a bigger film with a new concept. So, they decided to stop the project and work on something else. He also revealed that he is currently working on a project with Kamal Haasan.
Shankar also spoke about his current project, Bharateeyudu 2, which is a sequel to his previous film, Bharateeyudu. He said that the film will have a new concept and will be a bigger film than the original. He also revealed that the film will have a third installment in the future.
