Social media is abuzz with talks about YouTuber Praneeth Hanumantu. Popular for his YouTube channel, Praneeth Hanumantu found himself in hot water after making vulgar comments involving children, angering netizens. Prominent figures like Sai Dharam Tej and Manchu Manoj condemned his crude comedy and urged for action, appealing to leaders like CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu, AP CM Chandrababu, and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan through social media.
Responding swiftly, the Telangana government not only decided to take action but also arrested Praneeth along with three others in Bengaluru yesterday. In the wake of these events, Praneeth’s brother, Ajay Hanumantu, also a notable YouTuber, reacted. Ajay stated that wrong is wrong, regardless of whether it is his brother or someone else, and that those at fault should be punished. He emphasized that he does not endorse such adult comedy.
Ajay shared, “I got married six years ago. I wanted to share this happy news on a joyous occasion, but circumstances forced me to reveal it now. Despite being the son of an IAS officer, I started my career from scratch. I completed engineering and had a love marriage. I have faced many failures in life and struggled for survival.”
He reiterated his stance against adult comedy, stating, “I do not watch or promote such content. I am as distant from it as you are.” Thus, Ajay distanced himself from Praneeth Hanumantu’s actions following his arrest.
