Creative director Krishna Vamsi who has been going through a lean phase in his career after facing flop after flop has announced a new movie recently, after taking a break of more than 2 years.
The movie is titled Rangamarthanda, which is gone onto the floors today with the presence of the director Teja doing the first shot , The exciting news is that Maestro Ilayaraja has got on-board for the movie. The duo worked previously for the movie Anthapuram that released in 1999.
This is surely a gutsy move by the director and we hope that his gamble pays off. Rangamarthanda is billed to be an official remake of Marathi blockbuster Nata Samrat with Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. Anchor-actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is also roped in to play a substantial role in the film.
