The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham), a high-budget film in Malayalam cinema history, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, was released in theaters on March 28 and received a great response. However, despite its theatrical release in March, the film has yet to arrive on OTT, leaving OTT audiences eagerly waiting. Netflix has now announced the good news for those eagerly awaiting the film’s OTT release. Starting July 19, the film will be available for streaming on Netflix in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
Initially, there were viral reports that Disney Plus Hotstar OTT would stream the film from May 26. However, the film did not stream on that date, and there was no clarity on the OTT release since then. With Netflix’s recent announcement, OTT lovers are eagerly waiting to watch this film.
The movie is based on a real-life story from the 1990s about Benjamin Najeeb, who migrated from Kerala to the Gulf for livelihood and faced numerous hardships. The film, which was released worldwide in theaters, has collected over ₹150 crores, creating a record. It now has the opportunity to receive great reception on OTT as well.
