Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who is not only a well-known hero in the Telugu film industry but also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is currently gaining attention from the industry for more than one reason. According to recent reports, Pawan Kalyan’s statement about the film’s ticket rates has sparked controversy among his fans and critics. In an exclusive interview, Pawan Kalyan stated that he wants the government to decide on the ticket rates permanently rather than revising them every year.

However, filmmaker Ashwini Dutt recently made a statement that sparked outrage among fans, saying that the ticket rates could be increased by Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 and that it would be beneficial for the film industry. Ashwini Dutt claimed that he had discussed the matter with Pawan Kalyan and that Pawan Kalyan had given an assurance that he would not oppose such a decision.

BUT, in a quick clarification, Ashwini Dutt made a statement on Twitter saying, “I have been misinterpreted. I did not say that the ticket rates should be increased by Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000. What I meant was that the ticket rates could be discussed and decided upon after discussing with the industry experts and considering the factors such as the film’s budget. We need to take a decision that is good for all, including the filmgoers.” Ashwini Dutt stated that he would not oppose the final decision taken by the government after consulting with the industry experts. It seems that the controversy surrounding this issue is far from over.
