In the latest awaited epic “Indian 2,” directed by Shankar with Kamal Haasan reprising his iconic role, the film has made a decent buzz and opened solidly across Telugu states as well. However, comments have been heard regarding the slow pace and some editing that could have been done better, which has led to a tough cut in the film’s runtime. The entire film, originally scheduled for three hours, has now been trimmed by 20 minutes. With this, the film will now have a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes in theaters, starting immediately.
It remains to be seen if this plan will work out and draw more audiences to theaters. The heavy-duty project also features music by Anirudh, and the production team has successfully completed its creation.
