Kollywood star actor Karthi was last seen in the film “Japan,” which unfortunately couldn’t meet box office expectations. He’s next going to appear in an action drama titled “Meiyazhagan” directed by C. Prem Kumar. The makers recently unveiled the release date for the film with a brand new poster. “Meiyazhagan” is slated to hit theaters on September 27th.
The poster itself is quite eye-catching, featuring Karthi in a look that suggests the movie will be a full-fledged action entertainer. Interestingly, another film titled “Devara” starring NTR is also scheduled for a pan-India release across major Indian languages on the same date, September 27th. Whether Karthi’s film will release in Telugu alongside the Tamil version remains to be seen.
Produced under the banner of 2D Entertainment by Suriya and Jyotika, “Meiyazhagan” also features Arvind Swamy in another important role. Govind Vasantha has composed the music for the film, which has generated a lot of curiosity among the audience.
