For the past 15 years, Mahān News has been spreading its wings in the Telugu Media industry. Now, it’s expanding further into the entertainment sector. Mahān Group’s new venture, ‘Mahā Max’, is a Telugu-language entertainment channel that promises to revolutionise the way we consume entertainment.
The Launch event of ‘Mahā Max’ was held at the JRC Convention Centre in Hyderabad on October 24 with great fanfare. Power Star Pawan Kalyan, whose fans are eagerly waiting to taste the success of his upcoming projects, came forward to launch the channel by lighting the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Mahān News, Vamshee, said that the channel aims to target a wider audience and provide entertainment programs that cater to the diverse tastes and interests of the viewers. He added that unlike other channels, ‘Mahā Max’ will not focus on a particular kind of content, but will cover the entire spectrum of entertainment, from Movies to Music, Dance to Debate, and more.
Newly appointed CEO of the channel, Ashwini Darbari, expressed his gratefulness to the team and promised a bright future for the channel. “Today, we are not just launching a TV channel, but a new era in Telugu entertainment,” he said.
Senior actors of the Telugu film industry attended the event, including Murali Mohan, who recalled that he had seen many ‘firsts’ in his career. However, he felt that ‘Mahā Max’ was a unique venture that blended the best of entertainment and technology. He commended the team for their innovative concept and wished them all the best in the future.
Hollywood producer, Dil Raj, highlighted the importance of the channel’s 360-degree approach to entertainment content. “We are ready to support ‘Mahā Max’ as a partner in the industry as we believe that the channel represents the future of Telugu entertainment,” he stressed.
Producer Shakthi, who successfully produced the film ‘Baby’, mentioned that ‘Mahā Max’ would play a significant role in shaping the future of Indian entertainment. “We are hoping that ‘Mahā Max’ will evolve into the highest tax-paying channel on the list,” he added.
Senior director Murali Mohan called upon the team to work together effectively to achieve their goals. “As there is no shortcut to success, I know that the team will work hard to achieve a spot in the top 10 channels,” he said.
