Sensational filmmaker Pa. Ranjith teams up with star hero Vikram for the movie “Thangalaan.” This much-anticipated project has been in the making for a long time and is based on true events that took place in the Kolar Gold Fields. So far, the makers have kept the release date under wraps, much to the disappointment of fans. However, the wait is almost over as the film’s theatrical trailer, with a runtime of 2 minutes and 12 seconds, has been censored recently.
There are strong rumors in Kollywood film circles that the release date will also be revealed in the trailer. Sources say that the makers have packed the trailer with powerful moments and are confident that it will generate immense buzz upon release. The film is expected to hit theaters during the Independence Day weekend. This period action drama stars Malavika Mohanan as the female lead. Neelam Productions and Studio Green are jointly producing the film, with Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy playing other pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar is providing the music.
