Rakshith Atluri stars in the new movie “Operation Ravan.” Directed by Venkata Sathya and produced by Dhyan Atluri, this film is a new-age suspense thriller. Sangeerthana Vipin plays the heroine. Having completed all its activities, “Operation Ravan” is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 2. The trailer launch event for the film was held grandly in Hyderabad today.

Speaking at the event, director Venkata Sathya said, “We are delighted that Vishwak Sen has come for the launch of our ‘Operation Ravan’ trailer. He is young, so no need for foot salutations. Let me explain why I directed this film. Some might question the necessity of making such movies. ‘Operation Ravan’ will showcase aspects never seen in any movie before, not in Telangana, Andhra, or America. Even Rajamouli hasn’t shown such elements on screen. It’s all about your thoughts. Your thoughts influence whether you are good or bad. Your thoughts decide how you should be. I made ‘Operation Ravan’ with that point in mind. For the first time, I will visually show your thoughts on screen. Directing my son did not significantly impact me. As a director, I focused on the story I wanted to tell. Rakshith has acted well. We all have two kinds of thoughts: good and bad. If the good ones dominate the bad ones, we are good people. If the bad thoughts dominate the good ones, we turn bad. If Rama is a deity with good thoughts, Ravana was a demon with bad thoughts. As a director, I will know if my good thought paid off on August 2 based on the audience’s reaction. In our movie, Radhika played a key role. Approaching her and narrating the story was difficult, but once on sets, she acted as I directed. She would say, ‘I am a director’s actress, and if you like the shot, that’s enough.’ ‘Operation Ravan’ will be a memorable movie among all her films. Some scenes will be used as references. Many psycho thrillers are coming on OTT platforms, but our movie is entirely different,” he said.

Hero Rakshith Atluri said, “Thanks to Vishwak Sen for coming to the ‘Operation Ravan’ trailer launch event. After ‘Palasa,’ we thought of making a psycho thriller in our production. My father then decided to direct this film. Many people used to question why you are directing when your son is there. Making movies is not a bad job; it’s a good one. We are going to achieve success with ‘Operation Ravan.’ As Vishwak said, I will lift myself; no one needs to lift me. This is a word of self-confidence. We will achieve success with ‘Operation Ravan’ on August 2. I hope you liked our movie trailer. I will talk about the remaining technicians in the pre-release event. My father, as a director, shot everything in detail. He dyed my hair. Since the heroine is a TV journalist, she was given a new kind of makeover. He also gave a cat beard to Rocket Raghava. Every character was meticulously crafted. It was a pleasure working with Radhika. She used to give me a lot of tips, citing examples of the kind of films Dhanush is doing. She encouraged me like that. I have no tension about my father directing. When I go to the set, I am an actor, and my father is a director, that’s it. Until recently, even Radhika didn’t know we were father and son. Discussions for ‘Palasa 2’ are happening. That movie will also be there soon,” he said.

Hero Vishwak Sen said, “The ‘Operation Ravan’ trailer looks promising. It never felt like Venkata Sathya directed just for the sake of it. The trailer shows he made the movie with a lot of passion. When Rakshith came to invite me to this function, he said his father directed it. I also work on movies with my father. So, I related to Rakshith. Venkata Sathya has sweet magic shops and restaurants here and in AP. He has a settled life, but he made ‘Palasa’ for his son Rakshith. I know the time when the ‘Palasa’ discussions were happening. That movie got a good name. They are taking another risk with ‘Operation Ravan.’ I hope this movie will also be a big success. I have only one piece of advice for Rakshith. There is no such thing as a last chance here. There will always be another chance. Unexpected results come when we don’t lose hope. Try confidently, and success will come,” he said.
